The Process

Step 1: Design Consultation

This is our time to learn all about you, your likes & dislikes, your wish-list for your space and share any and all inspirational images, pinterest or houzz boards. Together we will review photographs or video of your space, discuss the scope of your project, your budget, and answer any and all questions you have about the process.  

Step 2: Contract and Proposal

After we determine the scope and timeline of your project, we will write up a proposal and contract for the work. After your review and sign off on the proposal and contract, we require payment in full for the work to begin.

You will provide us with images and exact measurements of your space, images and measurements or links to all current furniture pieces you wish to have incorporated into the new design and links to any inspirational images.

Step 3: Design

This is where we shine! Based on your style and input, we will reimagine your space into its full potential! Conceptualizing and developing a unique design specifically for you, that meets your needs for the space and stays within your budget.

After plotting your new layout, we research furniture, décor, and accessories, ultimately hand-picking items that are tailored to your style, needs, dimensions and budget. We then bring your vision to life, in a visual representation of your reimagined room with our proposed selections. Hopefully you love everything we propose, but if not, one round of reselections is included.

If you've purchased a 3D rendering add-on for your project, once you approve the final design concept, your project will be rendered (think of this like a photo shoot of your new room before you shop)!

At the end of this process we will have a final design review call to answer any remaining questions you may have and ensure that you are beyond excited about your future space!

Step 4: Sign-off and handoff

Once your design has been finalized, we will provide you with everything you need to complete your design.  

• A personalized shopping list with links for your selected furniture and decor items, from trusted brands and retailers

• Finalized E-Design visualization graphics

• Furniture and accessory floor plan

• Detailed installation guide

Please note: If you prefer that we handle the purchasing and delivery coordination, just let us know and we will be more than happy to take that off your plate for an additional charge.

Step 5: Installation

Once you order your new items, all you need to do is assemble your new room based on the detailed installation guide and floor plan provided in your final design package. Simply follow our provided step-by-step instructions on how to place furniture, rugs, lighting, where to hang art, and your beautiful new room will be complete and ready to enjoy!

Step 6: Enjoy your new space!

We love nothing more than seeing how beautifully your space turned out! Please send us pictures and keep us posted!

We don’t anticipate it, but if for some reason you need additional design work done for the same space after 30 days, we offer discounted hourly consultation rates. Think of this as a touch-up!
